Booking Terms & Conditions
Who can stay
The person who completes the Booking Form is responsible for the booking and must be 18 years of age or older. A maximum of 4 people can stay at the Lodge. The Lodge offers a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
Only the people named on the Booking Form may stay with us.
Pets
We allow one small dog to stay in the Lodge, please make sure the dog only has access to the dining / living room space and not the bedrooms.
How to book
Bookings can be requested online (www.deerlodgeeastyorkshire.co.uk) or by telephone.
When you make a booking, you will receive a confirmation via email.
A deposit of 25% per week/short break is required for booking of the Lodge. All deposits are per week/part week. The deposit is due at time of booking and the remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit is non-refundable.
A £200 security deposit. This will not be taken from your account, only held. The money will be released on departure once the accommodation has been checked.
The price you pay
Our prices include VAT.
Arrivals and departures
Your location on the Lodge and directions to it will be confirmed in your pre-arrival email sent out shortly before arrival. If you are in any doubt, please check with us.
The Lodge will be ready from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 10:00 PM.
If we have not heard from you within 24 hours of your expected arrival, we may release your booking. You will only be entitled to a refund if a third party takes up your booking. In that event, we will refund you up to the money we receive for the re-booking less our reasonable administration charges.
You must vacate Lodge by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Cancellations
We prefer that customers who cannot take their holiday agree to postpone to a mutually convenient date. However, you may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellations will be effective on the date we receive them.
If you cancel, cancellation charges are payable as follows unless you are doing so because we are in serious breach of our obligations in these terms and conditions:
Cancellation Charges for the Lodge Booking
- 28+ days before arrival - Full deposit is charged.
- 14 - 28 days before arrival - 50% of the accommodation cost is charged.
- Within 14 days of arrival - 100% of the accommodation cost is charged.
Complaints
We are confident you will be happy with our service. If you have a complaint, we encourage you to discuss it with us as soon as possible as this gives us the best chance of resolving it with you. If you remain unhappy, please get in touch with us again within 28 days of your departure, and we will try to help.

Any personal data you give to us will be processed in accordance with the law and our privacy policy.
